No Refunds Policy

All ticket sales are final. Refunds are NOT available for any purchases made through Events Et.

1. Payment Finality

Once a payment is verified and a ticket purchase is completed, the transaction is final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Change of plans or inability to attend the event
  • Personal circumstances or emergencies
  • Dissatisfaction with the event
  • Technical issues during purchase (unless the purchase was not completed)
  • Duplicate purchases (please contact us before making duplicate purchases)

2. Why Refunds Are Not Available

Our platform operates with the following characteristics that make refunds impractical:

  • Instant Ticket Generation: QR code tickets are generated immediately upon payment verification, making the purchase complete and final
  • Third-Party Payment Processing: Payments are processed through external providers (CBE Bank, CBE Birr, Telebirr), and we do not have direct control over payment reversals
  • Event Creator Dependencies: Funds are intended for event creators who rely on ticket sales for event planning and execution
  • Operational Complexity: The nature of our platform and payment verification system does not support refund processing

3. Event Cancellations

In the event that an event is cancelled by the event creator:

  • Event creators are responsible for communicating cancellation to ticket holders
  • Any refunds or compensation are at the sole discretion of the event creator
  • Events Et. is not responsible for issuing refunds for cancelled events
  • We recommend contacting the event creator directly regarding cancellation policies

We encourage event creators to clearly communicate their cancellation and refund policies in their event descriptions.

4. Payment Verification and System Availability

Our platform requires payment verification to complete ticket purchases. Important information about payment verification:

  • System Availability: If our payment verification system is down or unavailable, you will not be able to complete a purchase. Do not transfer money to event payment accounts when verification is unavailable.
  • If You've Already Transferred Money: If you have already transferred money to the provided payment accounts (CBE Bank, CBE Birr, or Telebirr) but the verification system is not working, please wait and try again later. The verification system will process your payment once it is operational again.
  • No Refunds for Verification Delays: If you transfer money during a verification system outage, you must wait for the system to resume operation. Refunds are not available simply because verification was delayed.
  • Verification Failure: If payment verification fails after the system is operational, your purchase will not be completed. Contact us with your payment reference number for assistance.
  • Always Check System Status: Before making any payment, ensure the verification system is operational. Do not proceed with payment if you receive an error message indicating the verification system is unavailable.

We are not responsible for payments made when the verification system is unavailable. Always verify that the system is operational before transferring funds.

5. Disputes and Complaints

If you have concerns about a purchase or event:

  • Contact the event creator directly first, as they are responsible for their events
  • Contact Events Et. support if you have platform-related issues
  • We will investigate complaints but cannot guarantee refunds
  • For payment disputes, contact your payment provider (CBE Bank, CBE Birr, or Telebirr)

6. Before You Purchase

Please carefully review the following before completing your purchase:

  • Event date, time, and location
  • Ticket quantity and pricing
  • Event details and requirements
  • Your ability to attend the event
  • That the payment verification system is operational
  • This refund policy

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this refund policy and agree that all sales are final.
