By accessing and using Events Et., you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Platform Usage

Events Et. provides a platform for event creators to list and sell tickets to their events, and for attendees to discover and purchase tickets. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create events or purchase tickets
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You may not use the platform to violate any laws or regulations

3. Event Creator Responsibilities

If you create events on our platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information about your events
• Honor all ticket sales and provide the services advertised
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain appropriate insurance for your events
• Respond to attendee inquiries in a timely manner
• Ensure your events comply with our content policies

4. Attendee Responsibilities

When purchasing tickets, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information during purchase
• Present valid QR code tickets at event entry
• Comply with event rules and venue policies
• Respect other attendees and event staff
• Not resell tickets without authorization

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed through third-party payment providers (CBE Bank, CBE Birr, Telebirr). By making a payment, you agree to:

• Pay the full amount as displayed at checkout
• Provide accurate payment information
• Understand that all sales are final (see Refund Policy)
• Accept that payment verification may take time

Events Et. acts as a platform facilitator and is not responsible for payment processing or disputes between event creators and attendees.

6. Account Terms

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your email address is verified

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Events Et., including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Events Et. or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Event creators retain ownership of their event content but grant Events Et. a license to display and distribute such content on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

Events Et. provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties, expressed or implied. We are not liable for:

• Event cancellations or changes by event creators
• Disputes between event creators and attendees
• Loss of data or service interruptions
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Create fraudulent or misleading events
• Attempt to hack or disrupt the platform
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Spam or harass other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
